Music Projects for Schools

I offer creative music workshops, project days and project weeks for grades 1–12. Using rhythm, voice, movement, rap and digital music, students explore music in a hands-on and inclusive way. All programs are adapted to the age group, school context, group size and available time.

Music workshop with students
My Approach

My work centres on empowerment through creating. I meet students where they are, working at eye level to support them in developing their own ideas. Music emerges through listening, trying things out, expression, flow and spontaneity – held by a clear framework and shared agreements. What matters most is that participants express themselves, are heard, and create something together. At the end, they should feel proud of what they made.

What I Offer

My school workshops combine rhythm, voice, movement and creative expression in accessible and inclusive formats. Programmes can be adapted for all ages from grade 1–12.

Kids Lab – Rhythm, Voice & Movement

1-Day Workshop

A playful and energetic workshop introducing rhythm, voice and movement. Students explore body percussion, beatbox, group groove, call-and-response, creative movement and simple improvisation. Depending on age and available time, the workshop may include small DIY instrument building (shakers, clappers, simple sound objects), allowing children to create their own sound tools.

Kids Lab strengthens coordination, listening skills, creativity and group connection – without requiring any prior musical experience.

Rap Lab – Text, Flow & Empowerment

2–3 Days

A multi-day workshop focusing on language, rhythm and empowerment. Students write their own texts, explore rhythm through clapping patterns, beatbox and movement, practice flow and delivery, and develop pieces that relate to their everyday life. Depending on the workshop length, the Rap Lab can also include professional beat production, studio-quality recording and stage or movement work — with my support as beat producer and recording engineer throughout the creative process.

The format gives students time to express themselves, collaborate and gain confidence in their voice and presence. For similar youth-focused formats, see the Youth Music Workshops.

Creative Music Lab – Project Week

3–7 Days

A flexible project week in which the artistic focus is shaped either in advance together with the school or chosen by the students during the first sessions. Groups explore rhythm, voice, rap, movement, digital music and improvisation, and then deepen the areas they find most meaningful.

Each day combines warm-ups, group exploration and focused creative work phases, adapted to age group, energy and interests. Possible focus areas include rhythm, beatbox, voice, rap, producing, ensemble work, movement, improvisation or simple instrument building. At the end of the week, students share the pieces, ideas or sound experiments they developed in a final presentation, celebrating the week together – or a short, informal sharing session.

Larger multi-class programs can be realised through the Team Music Projects.
