Music Workshops for Youth Centres & Cultural Spaces
YOUTH MUSIC WORKSHOPS: RAP, BEATS & CREATIVE LABS
Rap, beats, movement and digital music for young people aged 12–21.
Empowering, accessible and creatively open.
Youth Music Workshops: Rap, Beats & Creative Labs
For more than 15 years I have created music projects with young people in youth centres and cultural spaces
in Germany, Spain and Italy, collaborating with organisations such as Steinhaus Bautzen, the
Jugendkunstschule Dresden and Riesa efau. My workshops combine rhythm, rap, beatmaking, movement and
transcultural elements in a low-threshold, body-based format that works well for mixed groups.
Speaking five languages and experienced in intercultural youth work, I design programmes that support
identity, voice and belonging while building concrete skills in writing, producing and performance. The
sessions create an energetic, supportive space for young people to explore beats, flow and digital music —
and develop their own artistic expression.

What I Offer
My youth workshops combine rhythm, rap, movement and digital creation in accessible and creative formats
that work well for mixed groups. The modules can be combined freely depending on the needs of the group,
the space and the length of the workshop.
- Rap & Writing: developing flow, text ideas, rhythm and delivery
- Beatmaking: BandLab, mobile production, loops and simple arrangements
- Movement & Rhythm: body percussion, groove games, coordination and group energy
- Voice & Expression: call-and-response, flow patterns, vocal identity
- Digital Music Tools: sampling, effects, creative sound exploration
- Improvisation & Sound: experimental approaches, vocal layering, playful creativity
- Group Process Work: co-creation, shared authorship, listening skills, confidence
- Transcultural Elements: rhythms, patterns and instruments from different traditions
The workshops are flexible in difficulty level and adapt well to diverse groups, including participants with
different musical, social or linguistic backgrounds.
Rap, Beats & Urban Performance (1–7 days)
A dynamic workshop connecting text, rhythm, flow and performance. Participants explore their own stories
and perspectives through rap, spoken word and groove-based music. Sessions can include lyric writing,
flow practice, beat work, live effects, movement and stage presence. Depending on duration, the group can
create individual or collective pieces and share them in an informal performance.
Digital Music Production Lab (1–7 days)
A hands-on introduction to creating beats and digital music. Using BandLab or Ableton, participants produce
their own tracks while developing musical ideas in a collaborative environment. The workshop may include
sampling, loops, sound design, recording, arranging and basic mixing. Suitable for beginners and experienced
participants alike, and can lead to a small EP, beat tape or listening session.
Creative Sound Workshop for Kids (8–13 years)
A playful workshop introducing younger groups to sound, rhythm and creative experimentation. Participants
build simple instruments from recycled materials, explore textures and patterns, and create small collective
sound pieces or songs. The workshop can also include field recordings, soundscapes or short scenes that the
group scores with their own sounds.
Suitable Formats
Workshops can be booked as single or multi-day programmes and adapted to the needs of your group and space.

holiday programmes or school collaborations.
