Individual Mentoring for Live Looping & Musical Systems
Individual mentoring
Artistic guidance & live looping practice
Teaching, for me, is not about delivering predefined content or following a fixed curriculum. It begins with listening.
People come with technical challenges, artistic ideas, blocked processes, unfinished systems or a vague sense that something is not working yet. My role is to help clarify these questions and translate them into concrete musical and technical steps.
I work in a one-to-one mentoring format, adapting the process to your goals and context — focusing on coherence, clarity and sustainability.
What people usually come for
People typically reach out in phases where they already have experience, but feel stuck, overwhelmed or unclear about the next step.
- Live looping systems & workflows
- Musical clarity in complex setups
- Effects, dynamics & structure
- Personal looping language
- Preparation for live performance
This work is less about learning a tool and more about learning how to think musically inside a system.
Live looping mentoring
Live looping is my central teaching focus. I approach it as a musical and performative practice, not merely a technical skill.
We work on timing, phrasing, structure, long-form development and the reduction of complexity.
- musical form & long arcs
- transitions & resets
- clarity under complexity
- sound decisions that serve intention
How it works
We start with a conversation (online or in person), clarify your goals and situation, and choose a focused format.
Mentoring formats
- Single sessions
- Short mentoring phases
- In-person intensives
Online & in-person
Online mentoring focuses on structure and feedback. In-person work allows deeper focus on sound, body awareness and performance.
Relation to workshops & projects
This mentoring format is distinct from my group workshops and institutional projects. It is designed for focused individual work, allowing us to engage deeply with your personal setup, artistic questions and working process.
Group formats and institutional projects follow a different logic — often oriented towards collective processes, educational frameworks or specific contexts. If you are looking for those formats, please visit the Workshops & Projects section.
In mentoring, we work close to your real-life context — with enough depth and continuity to make changes sustainable.
