Music Workshops for Schools – Rhythm, Rap & Creative Projects
Music Projects for Schools
I offer creative music workshops, project days and project weeks for grades 1–12.
Using rhythm, voice, movement, rap and digital music, students explore music in a playful,
embodied and inclusive way. All programmes are adapted to the age group, school context,
group size and available time.

What I Offer
My school workshops combine rhythm, voice, movement and creative expression in accessible and inclusive formats.
Programmes can be adapted for all ages from grade 1–12.
- Rhythm & Body Percussion – groove, coordination, teamwork
- Voice & Singing – playful vocal work, group sound, call-and-response
- Rap & Spoken Word – playful language exploration, flow, performance
- Digital Music & Looping – Bandlab, recording, creative beatmaking
- Songwriting & Improvisation – collaborative music creation
- Transcultural Music Elements – rhythms & perspectives from around the world
- Instrument Building (optional) – simple DIY instruments from everyday materials
Kids Lab – Rhythm, Voice & Movement (1-day workshop)
A playful and energetic workshop introducing rhythm, voice and movement. Students explore body percussion,
group groove, call-and-response, creative movement and simple improvisation. Depending on age and available
time, the workshop may include small DIY instrument building (shakers, clappers, simple sound objects),
allowing children to create their own sound tools. Kids Lab strengthens coordination, listening skills,
creativity and group connection – without requiring any prior musical experience.
Rap Lab – Text, Flow & Empowerment (2–3 days)
A multi-day workshop focusing on language, rhythm and empowerment. Students write their own texts, explore rhythm through clapping patterns and movement, practise flow and delivery, and develop pieces that relate to their everyday life. Depending on the workshop length, the Rap Lab can also include basic beat creation, simple recording and stage or movement work. The format gives students time to express themselves, collaborate and gain confidence in their voice and presence.
For similar youth-focused formats, see the
Youth Music Workshops.
Creative Music Lab – Project Week (3–5 days)
A flexible project week in which the artistic focus is shaped either in advance together with the school or chosen by the students during the first sessions. Groups explore rhythm, voice, rap, movement, digital music and improvisation, and then deepen the areas they find most meaningful.
Each day combines warm-ups, group exploration and focused creative work phases, adapted to age group, energy and interests. Possible focus areas include rhythm, voice, rap, producing, ensemble work, movement, improvisation or simple instrument building. At the end of the week, students share the pieces, ideas or sound experiments they developed in a final presentation, celebrating the week together or also short and informal sharing or listening session.
Larger multi-class programmes can be realised through the
Team Music Projects.
Suitable Formats
Workshops can be booked as single or multi-day programmes and adapted to your age group and goals.
1 day — Creative Exploration
Ideal for project days or introductory sessions; works well with Kids Lab (rhythm, voice, movement, games, optional DIY instrument building).

3–5 days — Creative Music Lab

How it Works
Planning a workshop for your class is straightforward. We design the programme together based on
age group, group size and your educational goals.
- Initial Contact
You share your preferred dates, class level, group size and the type of workshop you are interested in. - Tailored Proposal
I suggest a workshop format (1 day / 2–3 days / project week) and adapt the content to your school
context, space and timetable. - Preparation
We clarify materials, room setup, technical needs (if any), and whether photos, audio or video may
be documented. - Workshop Delivery
I lead the sessions on-site. Workshops follow a clear structure with warm-ups, games and creative work
phases — always adapted dynamically to the group’s energy and needs. - Sharing & Follow-Up
If desired, the workshop can end with a small presentation, sharing circle or listening session.
We can also discuss options for long-term collaboration.
