Training for music educators

Over more than 15 years as project coordinator, workshop musician and music educator, I have developed an independent approach to creative, transcultural and inclusive music work in schools, cultural institutions, camps and community contexts in Germany, Spain and Italy. In my training formats, I share this collected experience with educators, music students and institutional teams.

Sharing expertise

My training formats have been developed and refined through seminars, conferences and intensive workshops for music educators, educational professionals in kindergarten and after-school care, students and conference audiences. I share expertise on practical, conceptual, organisational and philosophical levels, grounded in real project experience and transcultural educational thinking, supporting professionals in expanding their own creative practice.

Music in early education & after-school care

For educators

A practice-oriented training for educational professionals working with young children in kindergartens and after-school care. We explore songs, rhythm games, body percussion, movement and simple improvisation to support musical development in early education. Participants learn tools for structuring music sessions, guiding group energy and integrating music into daily routines in playful, accessible ways adaptable to diverse groups.

Inclusive music-making for diverse groups

For professionals

Training for educators and professionals working with groups of different abilities. With rhythm, voice, simple instruments and body-based approaches, we explore accessible ways of making music together. The focus is on empowerment, participation, communication and shared creative work. Participants learn adaptable methods to support group dynamics, reduce barriers and shape musical experiences that are inclusive, playful and oriented to individual needs.

Inclusive music-making

Workshop impression – rap and spoken-word production

Inclusive music workshop with group percussion

Workshop design & creative facilitation

For students & professionals

A training seminar especially for music students and early-career professionals who want to explore the field beyond traditional music-school teaching. We look at project-oriented work in sociocultural centres, school workshops, community contexts and freelance fields. Participants develop practical skills for planning, structuring and leading creative music sessions, including content, didactics, organisation and everything needed for solid work as a freelance music educator.

Transcultural music education for institutions & conferences

Keynotes & seminars

Based on long-standing transcultural music practice, ethnographic research and educational experience, I offer talks, workshops and seminar contributions for universities, professional associations and conferences. These formats share expertise on conceptual, organisational and philosophical levels and explore how transcultural perspectives can enrich and change music-educational practice.
