Youth Music Workshops: Rap, Beats & Creative Labs

For more than 15 years I have designed music projects with young people in youth centres and cultural spaces in Germany, Spain and Italy, in cooperation with organisations such as Steinhaus Bautzen, Jugendkunstschule Dresden and riesa efau. My workshops combine rhythm, rap, beatmaking, DJ, movement and transcultural elements in flexible formats well suited to mixed and diverse groups aged 8–21.

My Approach

My work is based on relationship, trust and creative freedom I meet young people where they are, with respect for their experiences, their language and their energy. Instead of following a fixed curriculum, I create a space in which participants feel able to experiment, make mistakes and find their own voice. Music becomes a tool for self-expression, connection and empowerment. What matters is that everyone feels heard, contributes something meaningful and leaves with the feeling of having achieved something.

What I Offer

My youth workshops combine rhythm, rap, movement and digital creation in accessible and creative formats. Modules can be freely combined according to group needs, room possibilities and workshop length.

Rap, Beats & Urban Performance

1–7 days

A dynamic workshop connecting text, rhythm, flow and performance. Participants explore their own stories and perspectives through rap, spoken word and groove-based music. Sessions can include text work, flow exercises, beat work, beatbox, live looping, movement and stage presence. Depending on duration, the group can develop individual or shared pieces and present them in an informal performance, or work towards a larger stage show or music video production.
