My work emerges from a long-term engagement with music as an embodied, social and cultural practice.

For more than 15 years, I have been combining formal music education, ethnographic research and professional performance to develop formats that function across schools, cultural institutions, festivals and club contexts.

Foundations

Formal training and pedagogical foundations

My formal education combines instrumental mastery, pedagogical training and music-ethnological research. From early on, my focus has been on understanding how musical learning, motivation and collective experience interact in different cultural and social contexts.
