Snapshot
A practice shaped by pedagogy, research and performance
My work emerges from a long-term engagement with music as an embodied, social and cultural practice.
I combine formal music education, ethnographic research and professional performance to develop formats
that function across schools, cultural institutions, festivals and club contexts.
This page presents a thematic overview of that practice. For a full chronological record, please refer
to the CV downloads below.

Foundations
Formal training and pedagogical foundations
My formal education combines instrumental mastery, pedagogical training and music-ethnological research.
From early on, my focus has been on understanding how musical learning, motivation and collective experience
interact in different cultural and social contexts.
  • Jazz trumpet & instrumental pedagogy — Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden (Diploma)
  • Music education & teaching practice — University of Leipzig
  • Creative music training & curriculum development — Escuela de Música Creativa, Madrid (Leonardo Programme)
  • Arts-in-education methodology — Yehudi Menuhin Foundation (MUS-E)
  • Research focus — music, trance and ritual practices (ethnographic fieldwork in Morocco)
